Our Sourcing Standards Explained

Rule Biologics sourcing and quality standards

At Rule Biologics, sourcing is not an afterthought — it is the foundation of everything we do. This article provides a transparent look at how we select, evaluate, and qualify our peptide suppliers.

Supplier Selection Criteria

We maintain a rigorous qualification process for all manufacturing partners. Not every facility that can produce peptides meets our standards. Our evaluation criteria include:

  • GMP or ISO-certified manufacturing facilities
  • Documented quality management systems with full batch traceability
  • Proven track record of consistent purity levels above 98%
  • Willingness to submit to independent quality audits
  • Transparent raw material sourcing and supply chain documentation

Multi-Layer Verification

Every product that enters our supply chain goes through multiple verification checkpoints before reaching our customers:

First, we review the manufacturer's in-house testing documentation including HPLC chromatograms, mass spectrometry data, and certificates of analysis. This provides a baseline understanding of the batch quality.

Second — and most critically — we submit samples to independent, certified US laboratories for comprehensive third-party testing. These results must match or exceed the manufacturer's claims before we approve a batch for sale.

What We Reject

Transparency means being honest about what does not make the cut. We routinely reject batches that:

  • Fall below our 98% minimum purity threshold
  • Show unexpected impurity profiles, even at trace levels
  • Have incomplete or inconsistent documentation
  • Come from facilities that cannot provide full supply chain transparency

Our rejection rate is higher than many competitors because our standards are higher. We view this as a feature, not a cost.

Continuous Monitoring

Qualifying a supplier is not a one-time event. We conduct ongoing quality monitoring including periodic re-testing of retained samples, supplier audits, and trend analysis of batch-to-batch consistency.

If a supplier's quality shows any signs of declining, we act immediately — either working with them to resolve the issue or transitioning to an alternative qualified source.

Our Commitment

The peptide industry has a trust problem. Too many suppliers cut corners on sourcing, rely on self-reported quality data, and prioritize margins over integrity. We built Rule Biologics to be the opposite of that.

Every decision we make — from supplier selection to packaging — is guided by a simple principle: if we would not trust it for our own research, we will not sell it to you.
